It’s a compelling story, the one we are about to tell you, a bit like that of Lezhë Castle (Kalaja e Lezhës), a fortress built in ancient times by the Illyrian people in Northern Albania.

Well, a few months ago, our Albanian partner Sali Elektrik involved us in the magnificent architectural lighting project of the castle itself.

TEC-MAR, as always, responded present! Once the lighting study was completed, we supplied a series of floodlights from our Polar family (BEST SELLER TEC-MAR 2023 and 2024), Giotto and Rod, and in particular:

– 7026RR3030GD, the professional and architectural floodlight POLAR 1, with super-asymmetric optics;

– 3003EW0324GD, the GIOTTO architectural wall washer linear floodlight with elliptical optics

– 7050C33005GL and 7050C33015GL, the small ROD architectural floodlight with narrow beam optics;

all with 3000° K color.

The installation went smoothly and after a few days the inhabitants of Lezhë were able to admire the beauty of the castle illuminated at night.

The magnificent result escaped very few and the news reached the Albanian Prime Minister, Mr. Edi Rama, who thought it would be a good idea to dedicate a post on his Facebook page to the illuminated castle.

The post features a video made with a drone flying over the castle and showing the perfect result of the TEC-MAR lighting.

The Prime Minister’s post went viral in Albania and beyond and in a few hours, it collected hundreds of thousands of views and likes!

Telling these stories fills us with pride and can only give us an additional push to improve every day for the full satisfaction of our beloved customers!

We are committed daily, together with our partners, to the design and construction of super-efficient sports facilities for the correct lighting of them, ensuring the required lighting levels, adequate color rendering and significant energy savings that often allow a Return on Investment in less than 24 months!

In this article we present a typical lighting project for amateur sports fields (five-a-side football, volleyball and tennis, on various surfaces), created in collaboration with our Croatian partner LIV.

The facility, owned by Sportski tereni SRC Veli Jože (Veli Jože Sports Recreation Center), is located in Poreč (Parenzo) and consists of four main fields used for various sports disciplines.

The investor, the sports community of Poreč, needed an intervention that would exploit the existing poles, only 7.8 meters high, ensuring sufficient levels of illumination.

With the use of our MAGIC family floodlights, and specifically, the following fittings:

7101RR4450GL, the MAGIC 1 power floodlight with super-asymmetric optics, 4000° K LEDs and over 60,000 lumen output;

7102RR4600GL, the MAGIC 2 power floodlight with super-asymmetric optics, 4000° K LEDs and over 90,000 lumen output;

we met and exceeded the customer’s expectations, providing between 200 and 210 lx on the ground.

A complex and strategic project aimed at improving the transport infrastructure in the port city of Klaipėda in Lithuania. The reconstruction of the multi-level Baltic Avenue intersection aims at an impressive modernization of the junction with overpasses, underpasses and other infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists.  The pedestrian and cycling area were enlightened with 29 GEO 14W 3000K.
